Pasted Graphic

Hi. I'm Erik Blood, and I'm a Black Weirdo. This Saturday afternoon at the Bumbershoot Festival in Seattle I'll be joining a panel discussion with other Black Weirdos.
Come on down: http://bumbershoot.org/lineup/artist/black-weirdo/

I'm also part of Black Constellation. We (Ish and Tendai of Shabazz Palaces, OC Notes and I) are performing "Expanding the Now: The Continual Line" next Friday September 5th, at the Frye Museum.
Get there early, and RSVP now. More details here: http://fryemuseum.org/calendar/event/5577/
If you haven't already seen the current exhibition "Your Feast Has Ended" at the Frye - featuring Black Constellation members Maikoyo Alley-Barnes, Nicholas Galanin, and Nep Sidhu - you NEED to go. Now. Amazing.

Vox Mod - SYN-ÆSTHETIC - Album Release Show

tumblr_mjip2it6Rz1qkpwdoo1_500

This Friday - tomorrow - the one, the only, Vox Mod performs live at Vermillion w/ OC Notes, Olav and DJ Riz.
What a lineup! I will be there and you'd better be too!

Proud of the work I did helping to bring Scot's vision to life. The album is fucking great - come to this show and hear some of it ahead of the release next Tuesday.

If you're unfamiliar with Vox Mod - (and you won't be for long) - get more sounds and info here:

Come see me work real hard on my Robert Smith…

The full backstory from http://www.dancingonthevalentine.com/

Each year throw the best Valentine’s Day Party ever for Jenny George’s birthday, and to kick Leukemia’s ass. Dancing on the Valentine is an annual benefit concert for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, the world’s largest voluntary health organization dedicated to funding blood cancer research, education, and patient services. The Society’s mission is to cure Leukemia, Lymphoma, Hodgkin’s Disease and Myeloma, as well as improve the quality of life for patients and their families.

Dancing on the Valentine producer Jenny George beat leukemia at age 16 with help from the music of her favorite band: Duran Duran. When Jenny was diagnosed at age 12, she was given less than thirty days to live and told that she would never have children. That was over twenty years ago. Today, she is a dedicated mother who, in addition to her day job, is committed to raising money to cure the disease and help children going through the same experience she once endured.
