The full backstory from http://www.dancingonthevalentine.com/

Each year throw the best Valentine’s Day Party ever for Jenny George’s birthday, and to kick Leukemia’s ass. Dancing on the Valentine is an annual benefit concert for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, the world’s largest voluntary health organization dedicated to funding blood cancer research, education, and patient services. The Society’s mission is to cure Leukemia, Lymphoma, Hodgkin’s Disease and Myeloma, as well as improve the quality of life for patients and their families.

Dancing on the Valentine producer Jenny George beat leukemia at age 16 with help from the music of her favorite band: Duran Duran. When Jenny was diagnosed at age 12, she was given less than thirty days to live and told that she would never have children. That was over twenty years ago. Today, she is a dedicated mother who, in addition to her day job, is committed to raising money to cure the disease and help children going through the same experience she once endured.
